A rich experience

The Beauty of Our Wellness Awareness Luncheon & Fundraiser will serve as the launching point for the The Beauty of Our Wellness Fund, which will offer financial assistance to women who have accumulated bills in the process of resolving their uterine fibroid-related issues and create a support network for Black women's health promotion overall.

The event will feature a presentation of uterine health related research, testimonies from former myomectomy patients, and moderated discussions with renowned Black Women OBGYN's. Through this event, we aim to create space for vulnerability, the development of new understandings, and introduce our uterine fibroids awareness campaign.

Dr. Tanya S. Wright, MD, Dr. Lynne J. Lightfoote, MD, and Dr. Shawn Davis-Wilensky, MD are among the renowned surgical and non-surgical OBGYN’s who will discuss the realities of this health disparity in depth and share insight on best practices for preventive care!

Attendees will leave with informational material, endocrine-safe hygiene products, and a non-inflammatory cookbook crafted by a surprise Chef! With an exhibition curated by co-founder and art curator Khaleelah I. L. Harris, fine art pieces from the Wright Family Collection will be on display during the luncheon to provide attendees with a wellness experience filled with beauty!
