All major fundraising events will be brought to you by this exceptional and dynamic team of women who’s academic, professional, and social careers speaks to their integrity, talents, souls, and intelligence.

Decor & Experience Co-Chairwomen


  • Kelsey Green, originally from Tennessee, has always been deeply engaged in women's organizations. She pursued her undergraduate studies in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana, followed by a Master of Health Sciences from Meharry Medical College. Currently enrolled as a medical student at Howard University College of Medicine, Kelsey is not only dedicated to her studies but also to advocating for women's health. Her passion lies in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and she actively mentors aspiring women in the field.

    In addition to her academic pursuits, Kelsey is heavily involved in various women's organizations. As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., she finds sisterhood and support. She also contributes her time and expertise to the Association of Women Surgeons and Women of Color in Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, where she strives to break barriers and promote diversity in healthcare.

    Kelsey believes that the Beauty of Our Wellness Luncheon will serve as a platform for collaboration and relationship-building among women from diverse backgrounds. She is honored to witness the inception of this event alongside fellow women dedicated to advancing healthcare.

  • Danae Byer was born and raised in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She is am MD candidate at Howard University College of Medicine with a passion for women's health that is fueled by her ambition to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. She serves her HUMC community as Vice President of Student Wellness and Secretary of HU Student Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Byer feels honored and excited to participate in this event as the Decor & Experience Chair, an opportunity which allows her to blend her medical aspirations with her creative side, while supporting her community of women.

  • Destani Parker, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, is a passionate advocate for women's health and equity. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, and an MBA from Syracuse University, specialized in Corporate Entrepreneurship. Currently residing in Washington, D.C., she works as a Litigation Client Development Manager at a top 10 global law firm. Destani seamlessly integrates her operational and marketing expertise to expand business and foster strong client and community relationships.

    Motivated by her dedication to advancing Black women's health and awareness, Destani actively contributes to her community through mentorship, volunteerism and philanthropy. She is also an active alum and member of the Agnes Scott Alumnae DC Steering Committee. Through her involvement in various women's causes and initiatives, she strives to empower and uplift women of color.

    Destani's belief in the urgency of addressing uterine health disparities among Black women motivated her involvement with The Beauty of Our Wellness Fund. Recognizing the critical need for increased awareness and support for women facing barriers to medical care access, she is dedicated to the advancement of the foundation's mission of promoting wellness and creating a support network for Black women's health.

  • Kendall Bond is a dedicated corporate trainer for Jersey Mike's Franchise Systems, specializing in empowering teams for success. Born in Minnesota and raised in Florida since the age of 14, Kendall brings a blend of Midwestern values and Southern warmth to everything she does. A proud graduate of Howard University, Kendall earned her degree in 2019 and has since been committed to making a positive impact on those around her. Outside of her professional endeavors, Kendall enjoys long walks, which she sees as integral to maintaining a healthy aging process. At 27 years old, Kendall embodies a passion for lifelong learning and aims to leave a lasting impression on everyone she encounters. Looking ahead, Kendall plans on moving to Miami in the summer of 2024 with the intention to curate a space for like-minded black women to hang out and discuss day-to-day sentiments in both their work and personal lives.

    Kendall's motivation for joining such a committee is deeply personal; she seeks to bring more support to black women's health. Having witnessed women in her family grappling with various reproductive health issues, Kendall is determined to have a positive impact in that space. Bringing awareness and support to this cause would mean the world to her.

Marketing and Social Media Co-Chairwomen


  • Logan White, a seasoned communications professional with a unique skill set, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to both her professional and volunteer work.

    As a Communications Manager at LinkedIn, Logan harnesses her storytelling prowess and strategic media relations skills to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.

    Logan's impact extends beyond her professional achievements. She is a co-lead for the DC office’s Black Inclusion Group at LinkedIn, driving initiatives that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. She also serves as the PR/Marketing Chair of Thursday Network, the young professionals affiliate of the Greater Washington Urban League, committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnerships aligned with the Empowerment Goals of the National Urban League. Last but certainly not least, Logan is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, actively contributing to the organization’s legacy of leadership, scholarship, sisterhood, and service. 

    Logan joined 'The Beauty of our Wellness Luncheon' committee due to her passion for reproductive health, especially among Black women. As someone who battled endometriosis in high school, with her mother advocating tirelessly for proper treatment, she is committed to raising awareness and improving healthcare access for Black women confronting reproductive health challenges. 

  • Cori Bond is a dynamic and results-driven sales management professional with over five years of experience in driving B2B sales growth and leading cross-functional teams. With a keen understanding of financials and a track record of success in fast-paced environments, Cori excels in building and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

    Cori’s journey in sales began with her educational pursuits, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business with a Marketing concentration from Howard University in May 2020. During her academic years, Cori gained practical experience through internships, including a role as a Business to Business Sales Development Intern at AT&T, where she honed her cold calling and lead generation skills, and a Portfolio Development Internship at City Bridge Foundation, where he contributed to organizing crucial documentation for education entrepreneurs.

    In her professional career, Cori has held key positions where she showcased her leadership and strategic acumen. As the Vice President of Sales at The Bond Group in Boca Raton, FL, Cori spearheads the development and implementation of sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Her ability to leverage sales tools and technologies enhances productivity and reporting, while his focus on building and nurturing relationships with clients and partners ensures sustainable growth. Prior to her current role, Cori served as a District Sales Lead at Frito-Lay, where he cultivated relationships with high-level customers, driving sales and market share growth.

    Beyond her professional endeavors, Cori has been actively engaged in leadership roles and affiliations. As Treasurer and Second Vice President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Chapter, she demonstrated her commitment to financial management and organizational excellence. Additionally, as a Student Ambassador for the National Sales Network, John contributed to the coordination of annual conferences and recruitment efforts. She now heads the South Florida’s Early Career Development Initiative for NSN. A co-founder of Buppies South Florida, Cori is passionate about the advancement & strategic networking of young black professionals. In her free time, Cori loves to travel, watch sports, shop, and spend time with friends and family.
