A Beautiful Vision

A Charity Exhibition Curated by Teri Henderson & Adama Kamara

The Second Annual Beauty of Our Wellness Benefit Luncheon Committee proudly presents “A Beautiful Vision” Charity Exhibition Curated by Teri Henderson & Adama Kamara. This group of work will explore themes such as reproductive health, wellness, the body, nature and community.

We are seeking artworks by artists residing in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area that present visions of a world in which African-descended women, and those connected to expansive understandings of womanhood, are healthy, spiritually well, in tune with their bodies, grounded in nature, and connected to thriving communities. Each work of art will present A Beautiful Vision for the future of women's health across the diaspora.
